Manobrei a pickup e começamos a descida Ainpara Nova Friburgo. Quando chegamos ao ponto onde ouvira o assobio daquela manhã, resolvi fazer uma segunda tentativa. A resposta ao playback, vinda de um vale situado logo após a curva, foi imediata, como da vez anterior. Caminhei a pé até ao local e posicionei a caixa de som em um arbusto próximo da margem, acionando em seguido o playback. Trabalhava com os registros que tinha dos encontros anteriors: um pássaro que permanecia sempre na brenha da mata. Para minha completa surpresa, resolveu aparecer no limpo, pousando em um galho muito próximo de onde eu estava. Vai saber que motivo o levou àquele comportamento. O fato é que permaneceu ali por um bom periodo, me dando a oportunidade de fazer varias fotos, além de um pequeno vídeo. O bom de fotografar pássaros em um lugar como o Brasil, é que quando o meu dia derradeiro finalmente chegar, ainda não terei me deparado com todas as espécies que por aqui pululam. I maneuvered the pickup and started the descent to Nova Friburgo. When we got to the point where he had heard the whistle that morning, I decided to make a second attempt. The response to the playback, coming from a valley situated just around the bend, was immediate, as the previous time. I walked on foot to the site and positioned the speaker in a bush near the edge, triggering playback in a row. Working with the records that had the anteriors meetings: a bird that always remained in the thicket of the forest. To my complete surprise, I decided to appear in clean, landing on a branch very close to where I was. Who knows what motive led to that behavior. The fact is that remained there for a long period, giving me the opportunity to make several photos, and a short video. Good to photograph birds in a place like Brazil, is that when my last day finally arrives, still will not have encountered me with all the species that abound here.
