Pimentão(Saltator fuliginosus) - Black-throated Grosbeak - Nova Friburgo(RJ) - 03/09/2016

Perdi a conta das vezes que busquei este pássaro pelas matas do Parque Nacional do Itatiaia. Em uma única oportunidade o avistei ao longe e naquela distância imensa permaceu . Passavam cinquanta minutos das doze horas e, confesso, não esperava aquela aparição. Era a primeira parada do dia naquela estrada de terra que que começa na RJ 116  e vai até Macaé de cima(para quem não conhece e deseja fazer uma incursão, pegue a entrada do hotel Garllip).  Mal desci da pickup e um bando de pássaros pousou em uma árvove na contraluz, o que dificultava a identificação. Peguei a câmera e selecionei + 2 na compensação. Fiz um registro e fui conferir. Era o pimentão, com seu inconfundível bico vermelho. A vocalização no Ipod funcionou desta vez, trazendo-os para perto de onde eu estava. Agora que desencantou, espero ter outros encontros mais favoráveis. Quem sabe... Clique!!!   

I lost count of the times I searched for this bird in the forests of the Itatiaia National Park. In a single opportunity I saw him in the distance, and at that immense distance he remained. It was fifty minutes past twelve and, I confess, I did not expect that apparition. It was the first stop of the day on that dirt road that starts at RJ 116 and goes to Macaé from above (for those who do not know and want to make an incursion, take the entrance of the Hotel Garllip). As soon as I got out of the pickup and a flock of birds landed on a tree in the backlight, which made it difficult to identify. I picked up the camera and selected + 2 on the compensation. I made a record and checked. It was the sweet Black-throated Grosbeak, with its unmistakable red beak. The vocalization on the Ipod worked this time, bringing them closer to where I was.
