A cerca de um ou dois anos estivemos neste exato lugar. Naquela oportunidade, apesar de ouvir o forte martelar em alguma árvore distante e o som de sua resposta ao playback, não consegui sequer uma única visão de seu vulto. Entre 15 e 18 de agosto, no mesmo lugar de outrora, eis que resolve aparecer ao primeiro som do playback. Não perdi a oportunidade. Doze dias depois, de volta à Reserva Natural Vale com o meu amigo João Sergio Barros e nosso amigo e guia Justiniano Magnago, tivemos nosso mais recente encontro, que também não deixei passar em brancas nuvens. About a year or two ago we were in this exact place. At that time, though I heard the loud pounding of some distant tree and the sound of its response to playback, I could not get even a single glimpse of its shape. Between 15 and 18 of August, in the same place of old, behold, it resolves to appear at the first sound of the playback. I did not miss the opportunity.
