Eram duas horas da tarde do dia 23 quando cruzei novamente o portão da área restrita e, daquela vez, fui mais adiante, chegando até a torre de observação. Exceto por esse pequeno bando de tiribas grandes que pousaram fazendo alegre estardalhaço, a mata estava em silêncio. A luz contrária e a distância não me favoreceram. Essa belíssima ave está ameaçada de extinção pela destruição de seu habitat. Encontrar este pequeno bando representa uma alegria, mesmo em adversas condiçoes de luz, o que impossibilitou revelar toda a sua magnífica beleza. It was two o'clock in the afternoon of 23 when again crossed the gate of the restricted area and, this time, I went further, reaching the observation tower. Except for this small band of great tiribas that landed making merry fanfare, the forest was silent. The counter light and the distance did not favor me.
