No final de junho minha filha mais nova havia me ligado perguntando se poderíamos passar uma semana juntos durante suas férias, que teriam início em 13 de julho. Meu neto de 6 anos também estaria na programação, o que me fez pensar imediatamente na Reserva Natural Vale. Fiz a sugestão e ela aceitou de bom grado. Acordamos muito cedo no dia 18 e por volta das 7 horas estávamos tomando café da manhã na casa do alemão. Ficamos dois dias em Guarapari e ao meio dia da segunda-feira, 20, cruzamos o portão que nos introduz ao paraíso. Meu neto estava radiante e isso me trouxe à lembrança uma reportagem sobre as aventuras do Amyr Klink. No topo da página, em caixa alta, a seguinte chamada: "Disney? Que nada!!!". Ele resolvera presentear às filhas com uma viagem a bordo do veleiro Paraty, tendo por destino um lugar incomum: a Antártida!!!
Levamos nossa bagagem para os quartos e em seguida descemos para o almoço. Vencidas todas as etapas, inclusive aquela reservada aos doces, fomos dar um passeio pelos arredores. Costumava encontrar esses magníficos pica-paus em um grupo de três ou quatro árvores próximas à recepção. Não houve decepção. Estavam no mesmo local e, melhor, estavam impossíveis. Click!!!
In late June my youngest daughter had called me asking if we could spend a week together during their vacation, which would start on July 13. My grandson six years would also be on the schedule, which made me immediately think of the Valley Nature Reserve. I made the suggestion and she gladly accepted. We wake up very early on the 18th and by 7am we were having breakfast in the German home. We stayed two days in Guarapari and at noon on Monday, 20, crossed the gate that leads us to paradise. We took our luggage to our rooms and then went down to lunch. Won all stages, including the one reserved for candy, we went for a walk through the surroundings. Used to meet these woodpeckers magnificent in a group of three or four trees near the reception. There was no disappointment. They were in the same place and, rather, were impossible. Click !!!
