Uma vez arrumadas as bagagens na caçamba da camionete, dei partida no motor e seguimos pelo leve aclive pavimentado que desemboca no trecho de terra, onde orquídeas bambu, ao sabor do vento, parecem acenar aos que chegam ou partem. No ipod, o violoncelo de Yo-Yo Ma harmonizava com a natureza, na interpretação de "The Swan from Carnival of the Animals. Antes de virarmos à direita para a reta final que nos deixaria na BR 101, um bando misto pousou na margem da estrada. Parei a pickup e, ao som daquela música magnífica, ainda pude fotografar essas duas espécies. Até breve. Click!!!

Once stowed luggage in the back of the van, I start the engine and followed by light paved slope leading into the stretch of land where bamboo orchids, the wind, seem to beckon to those who arrive or depart. Before we turn right into the stretch that would leave us in BR 101, a mixed flock landed on the edge of road.
