Durante um tempo acalentamos o desejo de avistar o Urubu Rei nos céus de Porto Seguro. Já haviamos abandonado tal desejo e foi o melhor que fizemos. O céu estava azul e praticamente isento de nuvens. Avistei-os muito ao longe, ainda sem saber do que se tratava. Vinham em nossa direção e demorou um bocado para que a ficha caísse. Era o Urubu Rei! Não havia dúvida. Aquele momento foi o mais próximo que eles se aproximaram. Entretanto, meus clicks só ocorreram segundos depois, quando eles já haviam ocupado uma porção um pouco mais longínqua do céu. As fotos teriam ficado um pouco melhor se tiradas no ponto de maior proximidade. Paciência. Agora é religar o alerta para o urubu rei e aguardar o próximo encontro. As outras fotos são de um gavião pernilongo que estava nas redondezas, porém, muito longe para o alcance da objetiva. Click!!!
For a while cherish the desire of seeing the King Vulture in Porto Seguro skies. We had already abandoned the desire and was the best we have done. The sky was blue and substantially free of clouds. I saw them far away, even without knowing what it was. They came towards us and it took a bit to the record fall. It was the Vulture King! There was no doubt. That moment was the closest they came. However, my clicks occurred only seconds later, when they had already occupied a portion a little more distant from the sky. The photos would have been a little better if taken in closer point. Patience. Now is restarting the alert to the king vulture and wait for the next meeting. The other photos are of a mosquito hawk that was in the neighborhood, however, very far to reach the objective. Click !!!
