Pomba Trocal - Estação Veracel - Porto Seguro(BA)

"Bom dia"! "Boa sorte"! 

De fato, o dia tinha começado muito bem. O bico chato do post anterior nos brindou com a sua beleza. Esperavamos outras surpresas, mas nossas expectativas foram superadas. Em  2013 havia avistado uma dessas exatamente na mesma área. Meu amigo João Sergio estava comigo e eu me lembro de que o barulho da porta colocou-a em estado de alerta, levando-a a bater suas asas poucos segundos depois. Dois registros foram possíveis. Apenas dois  e, de péssima qualidade. 

Desta vez foi diferente. A "boa sorte" estava conosco. 

Avistei a silhueta ao longe e, sem saber ainda do que se  tratava,  divisei-a com minha lente. Surpresa!!! Era esta linda pomba  trocal. A lembrança de nosso  último encontro atravessou a minha cabeça como um raio. Abri a porta sem fazer barulho e caminhei até o local onde a pomba se encontrava como se usasse sapatos de  algodão. A floresta sussurrou o "bom dia" e  o "boa sorte"  para nós e isso foi o suficiente para que aquele pássaro não tomasse conhecimento de nossa presença. Fotografamos e filmamos. Antes de  voar, lançou-nos um olhar que parecia dizer: "Boa sorte". Agradecemos disparando o obturador. Click!!!

"Good day"! "Good luck"!

In fact, the day had started very well. The Yellow-breasted Flycatcher previous post gifted us with its beauty. We looked for other surprises, but our expectations were exceeded. In 2013 had seen one of these in exactly the same area. My friend John Sergio was with me and I remember the sound of the door put it on alert, causing it to flap its wings a few seconds later. Two records were possible. Only two and of poor quality.

This time was different. A "good luck" was with us.

I saw the silhouette in the distance and, not yet knowing what it was, I spotted it with my lens. Surprise !!! It was this beautiful Scaled Pigeon. The memory of our last meeting went through my head like lightning. I opened the door quietly and walked to where the dove was like using cotton shoes. The forest whispered "good morning" and "good luck" for us and that was enough to take that bird unaware of our presence. Photographed and filmed. Before flying, gave us a look that seemed to say, "Good luck." Thanks firing the shutter. Click !!!
