Bico Chato Amarelo - Estação Veracel - Porto Seguro(BA) - 02/12/2014

Mais um dia na magnífica e magnética Estação Veracel. 

Ainda era noite quando chegamos por lá e os sons da noite eram os únicos que ouvíamos. Engatei a primeira marcha e, sem pisar no acelerrador, deixei a pickup rodar vagarosamente.  Enquanto avançavamos, os sons da noite foram dando lugar aos primeiros pios dos habitantes alados. Podiamos sentir a atmosfera sussurrar um amigável "bom dia", seguido de um incentivador "boa sorte". 

O bico chato amarelo, que tempos atrás, em Itacaré, fizera um brevíssimo pouso,  negando-nos a oportunidade de uma boa foto, desta vez mostrou-se excessivamente tranquilo, pousando em um  galho que pendia sobre a  estrada.  Melhor não seria possível. Click!!! 

Another day in the magnificent and magnetic Veracel Station.

It was still dark when we got there and the sounds of the night were the only ones heard. Hitched to first gear and without stepping on acelerrador, left the pickup rotate slowly. As we advanced, the sounds of the night gave way to the first pious of the winged inhabitants. We could feel the atmosphere whisper a friendly "good morning", followed by an encouraging "good luck".

The Yellow-breasted Flycatcher, which long ago, in Itacaré, made a very short landing, denying us the opportunity of a good photo, this time proved to be too quiet, resting on a branch hanging over the road. Best would not be possible. Click !!!
