Araçari de bico branco(Pteroglossus aracari) - Black-necked Aracari - Reserva Natural Vale-Linhares(ES) - 16/12/2014

Quando estávamos finalizando uma das últimas cenas do Sovi em vídeo, resolvemos colocar uma música que estivesse em sintonia com aquele maravilhoso entardecer. A escolha recaiu sobre "Oblivion", na versão interpretada por Caroline Moreau. Aquele som se propagou pela mata e pareceu agradar aos ouvidos de um bando de Araçaris de bico branco. Eles se aproximaram até se instalarem no arvoredo à margem da estrada. A vocalização intensa traduzia ao mesmo tempo excitação e curiosidade naqueles indivíduos que se amontoavam  no denso emaranhado de galhos, dificultando seus enquadramentos. Em determinado momento, três deles cruzaram a estrada pousando em um galho seco logo adiante.  A impressão era de que queriam identificar de onde vinha aquela musica. Aproveitamos a chance e, Click!!!  Não demoraram em alçar voo. Olhamos para o alto e vimos pagagaios cruzando a estrada em busca de poleiros onde passar a noite. Click!!!

When we were finishing the last few frames of Plumbeous Kite video, we decided to put a song that was in tune with that wonderful evening. The choice fell on "Oblivion" in the version played by Caroline Moreau. The sound spread through the woods and seemed to please the ears of a Black-necked Aracari gang. They came to settle in the trees on the roadside. The intense vocalization translated simultaneously excitement and curiosity in those individuals who huddled in the dense tangle of branches, hindering their frameworks. At one point, three of them crossed the road landing on a dry branch just ahead. The impression was that they wanted to identify the sender of that sound. We take a chance and, Click !!!They were quick to take flight. We look upward and saw pagagaios crossing the road in search of perches to spend the night. Click!!!
