Cardeal do nordeste - Red-cowled Cardinal - Corumbau(BA) - 25/11/14

Antes do encontro com o Sanhaçu de coleira em Corumbau, nós não faziamos idéia de pudéssemos encontrá-lo por ali. A surpresa, o angulo de visada, que colocava a objetiva contra a luz e, finalmente, a distância em que o pássaro se encontrava, resultou em uma fotografia não muito melhor da anterior, em Caravelas(BA). Entretanto, saber de sua existência por ali seria uma motivação a mais para a procura. Tomamos a estrada em direção da ponta Corumbau. Um terreno cercado e plantado com algumas mangabeiras chamou nossa atenção e resolvemos parar. Eis que aparece este magnífico casal de Cardeais. Lindos!!! Cli...Cli...Cli...Cli...Cli...CLICK!!!

Before the meeting with the Black-faced Tanager in Corumbau, we had no idea if we could find it there. The surprise, the angle of sight, which placed the objective to the light and, finally, the distance at which the bird was, resulted in a picture not much better the previous one, in Caravelas (BA). However, know of its existence through there would be an extra motivation for the search. We take the road towards the tip Corumbau. A land fenced and planted with some mangabeiras caught our attention and we decided to stop. Behold appears this magnificent double Red-cowled Cardinals. Beautiful !!!
