Depois de nosso pit stop na barraca do Russo, retomamos a subida da serra e, depois, pegamos a estrada de terra que liga o hotel Garlipp a Macaé de cima. Sempre que por ali transito, costumo parar em lugares que se tornaram obrigatórios, quer por sua beleza, quer pelo layout que a floresta apresenta, o que me leva a intuir que aquele deva ser um ponto ideal. Essas e outras fotos foram feitas em um desses lugares. Diria que em 50% das vezes que aí estive, reinou o silêncio absoluto, enquanto na outra metade, uma ruidosa movimentação se fez notar. Talvez dependa da hora do dia, se faz calor ou se faz frio, ou, ainda, se as nuvens descarregam uma chuva torrencial ou se deixam rolar apenas borrifa. Mas talvez esta não seja a lógica que conduz o movimento dos pássaros. Aquela é uma densa e exuberante floresta, plantada em generosa área. São muitas as possibilidades, então, o melhor a fazer é não contar com muita coisa, exceto contar com a sorte.  Eu conto sempre com a minha sorte e, desta vez, contei também com a do meu amigo de longa data, João Sergio Barros. After our pit stop in the Russo's tent, we return to the ascent of the mountain and then we take the dirt road that connects Garlipp Hotel to Macaé from above. Whenever I pass through there, I usually stop at places that have become mandatory, both for their beauty and for the layout that the forest presents, which leads me to intuit that this should be an ideal point. These and other photos were taken at one of these places. I would say that 50% of the times I was there, absolute silence reigned, while in the other half a noisy movement was noticed. It may depend on the time of day, whether it is hot or cold, or if the clouds discharge a torrential rain or if they are allowed to roll only spray. But perhaps this is not the logic that drives the birds' movement. That is a dense and lush forest, planted in a generous area. There are many possibilities, so the best thing to do is not count on much, except to count on luck. I always count on my luck and, this time, I also counted on that of my longtime friend, João Sergio Barros. Click!!!
