Depois que o meu amigo Silvio Romero manifestou seu desejo de visitar o irmão em Maringá, não hesitei em pegar a estrada e seguir até lá. Afinal, aquele vilarejo, para estar subordinado a Itatiaia, só pode estar a poucos quilometros de onde nos encontrávamos. Tomamos a BR 116 e seguimos até o acesso a RJ 163. Deixamos Penedo para trás e, mais adiante, surpresa! A estrada estava interditada para instalação de passarelas aéreas destinadas à travessia segura de animais. Havia um controlador de tráfego no local e fomos informados da alternativa: 65 km de terra batida até o nosso destino. Passava das três da tarde, o que indicava uma sensata decisão de deixar para outra oportunidade. Assim fizemos. Retomamos o caminho que nos levaria de volta à BR 116 e, adiante, uma placa indicativa apontava a direção de um lugarejo denominado Serrinha do Alambari. Resolvemos arriscar. Vencida a ponte que atravessa o rio de mesmo nome, resolvemos parar. Voltei caminhando até a ponte e observei que, adiante, ao longo das margens do rio alambari, muitos pássaros se movimentavam. Caminhei mais um pouco e, adiante, uma brecha na cerca dava acesso ao rio, poucos passos adiante. Lembrei-me imediatamente do que me dissera uma vez o meu amigo João Sergio: onde houver um riacho, ali também haverá um João Porca. Bingo! Mal acionei o playback e a resposta veio em seguida e a imagem se materializou tão próxima que tive que recolher o zoom da minha lente. Click!!!
Once my friend Silvio Romero expressed his desire to visit his brother in Maringa, I did not hesitate to hit the road and go up there. We resume the path that would take us back to BR 116 and, further, an indicative sign pointing the direction of a village called Serrinha of Alambari. We decided to risk it. Having won the bridge that crosses the river of the same name, we decided to stop. I walked back to the bridge and noticed that, below, along the banks of the river Alambari, many birds moved. I walked some more and, further, a gap in the fence gave access to the river, a few steps forward. I remembered immediately what he had said to me once my friend John Sergio: where there is a stream, there also will be a John nut. Bingo! Barely I cranked up the playback and the answer came next and the image materialized so close that I had to collect my zoom lens. Click !!!
