No dia 23 de julho minha esposa, filha e neto me concederam um habeas corpus para uma saída mais prolongada. Foi a oportunidade para acessar a área restrita da floresta. No caminho, próximo ao portão de entrada, um casal desses atravessou a estrada e pousou em uma árvore próxima. O protagonismo maior ficou por conta da fêmea. O macho bateu asas logo depois do segundo click, indo alojar-se em outra árvore mais distante. Click!!!

On July 23 my wife, daughter and grandson gave me a habeas corpus for a longer output.It was the opportunity to access the restricted area of the forest. On the way, near the entrance gate, a couple of these crossed the road and landed in a nearby tree. The major role was on account of the female. The male flapped soon after the second click, going to stay in a more distant tree. Click !!!

Voltamos do lago pela estrada que delimita a floresta e o pomar do hotel.  entre a floresta e o pomar da reserva. Estava a poucos metros da pickup e o barulho do motor a diesel não o assustou. Não ousei sair e fiz os disparos da janela. Até hoje me pergunto o motivo de não ter conseguido foco satisfatório em nenhuma das fotos. Foram mais de dez. Ouso publicar apenas esta, embora também sofra do mesmo problema.  Talvez não me ocorra outra oportunidade igual, mas não perco as esperanças.

Desde minha primeira visita a Reserva Natural Vale que venho tentando  melhorar o registro desta tiriba. As fotos do dia seguinte, que publicarei depois, embora tenham ficado melhores do que essas, não estão a altura da beleza deste pássaro. Meu neto de seis anos estava comigo quando escutamos a algazarra que vinha de uma palmeira. Eram curicas se alimentando. Esta foi a única que deu as caras para uma foto. Click!!!

Since my first visit to Reserva Natural Vale I have been trying to improve the record of this Parakeet. The photos the next day, which will publish later, although they have been better than these are not the height of the beauty of this bird. My six year old grandson was with me when we heard the noise coming from a palm tree. Orange-winged Parrot were feeding. This was the one that showed up for a photo. Click !!!

Nos encontramos com o Justiniano Magnago no pátio de estacionamento do hotel. Ele aguardava o cliente que estava guiando e, enquanto esperava, nos perguntou: vocês já fotografaram o caburé? Disse-lhe que fotografara um na véspera, mas que o fizera de muito longe. Então ele disse, apontando o dedo para um galho sobre nossas cabeças: olha um ali. Quem sabe, sabe. Click!!!

We met with Justiniano Magnago in the hotel parking lot. He waited for the customer who was leading, and as expected, asked us, you have photographed Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl?  told him I photographed one the day before, but that was too far away. Depois de avistar o pica pau nas proximidades do lago, retomamos ao hotel para o café da manhã em companhia de minha filha e meu neto. Depois deste agradável feito, retornamos ao ar livre.  e encontramos este belo araçari de bico branco que nos aguardava nas proximidades. Não perdi a oportunidade. Click!!!

After spotting the woodpecker near the lake, we return to the hotel for breakfast in company of my daughter and my grandson. After this nice done, we return outdoors. and we found this beautiful Black-necked Aracari that awaited us nearby. I did not waste the opportunity. Click !!!

Na manhã do dia 22 resolvi caminhar até o pomar que fica à margem de um grande lago formado pelo represamento do rio do pau atravessado. Na margem oposta ao pomar avistei a imponente garça moura. A distância em que se encontrava era muita, resultando em uma foto com pouca nitidez. Os frangos d'água e o pato do mato chegaram depois. Todos próximos à margem oposta.  Uma Jaçanan jovem pousou perto de onde eu estava e fiz um registro melhor. Antes de voltar ao hotel aproveitei a breve visita ao local de um pica pau de cabeça amarela. Click!!!

On the morning of 22 I decided to walk to the orchard which is on the edge of a large lake formed by damming the river crossed stick. On the opposite shore to the orchard I saw the imposing Cocoi Heron. The distance that existed was too much, resulting in a picture with little clarity. The Common Galinule and Moscovy Duck arrived later. All near the opposite bank. A young Wattled Jacana landed close to where I was and did a better record.Before returning to the hotel I took the brief visit to the site of a woodpecker yellow head. Click !!!
