Caburé(Glaucidium brasilianum) - Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl - Reserva Natural Vale - Linhares(ES) - 18/08/2016

Foi em minha primeira incursão na Reserva Natural Vale que tive meu primeiro encontro com este enigmático pássaro. Naquela oportunidade a distância e a luz contrária praticamente inviabilizaram um registro minimamente adequado. A cerca de um ou dois anos atrás, encontrei o meu amigo Justiniao Magnago no estacionamento do hotel da reserva e ele me proporcionou o segundo encontro. Apontou o dedo para cima e lá estava o pássaro, solenemente pousado em um galho, a cerca de um metro, um metro e meio acima de sua cabeça. Fiz boas fotos e um vídeo. os registros fotograficos deste post são o resultado do terceiro encontro o qual, devo dizer, foi o melhor de todos. Estava em uma árvore ao lado de nosso chalé e passou um tempo considerável entre um galho e outro. Pude, então, observar alguns detalhesl interessantes, como, por exemplo, o olho falso que ostenta na parte posterior da cabeça. Clique!!!

It was my first foray into the Valley Nature Reserve I had my first encounter with this enigmatic bird. At that time the distance and counter light practically unfeasible a minimally adequate record. About a year or two ago, I met my friend Justiniao Magnago in the hotel car booking and he gave me the second meeting. He pointed the finger up and there was the bird, solemnly perched on a branch, about a meter, a meter and a half above your head. I made good pictures and a video. The photographic records of this post are the result of the third meeting,  which I must say was the best of all. I was in a tree next to our cottage to and spent considerable time between one branch and another. I could then observe some interesting detalhesl, for example, the false eye bearing on the back of the head. Click!!!
