Araponga (Procnias nudicollis) - Bare-throated Bellbird - Nova Friburgo-RJ - 07/08/2014

Eu tinha uns dez anos quando ouvi o canto deste pássaro pela primeira vez. Foi na casa de meus avós paternos, em Nova Friburgo. Tornei a ouvi-lo em 2010, em Itacaré-BA. Nos últimos trinta dias estive quatro vezes na região do pico do caledônia. Nesta quarta-feira passada o pássaro finalmente se aproximou suficientemente e eu, aproveitei a oportunidade.

I was about ten when I heard the song of this bird for the first time. It was the home of my paternal grandparents in Nova Friburgo. Again I heard it in 2010, in Itacaré, Bahia. In the past thirty days I have been four times in the peak of the Caledonia region. This past Wednesday the bird finally approached enough and I took the opportunity.
